Modern Residential Show Home

We were commissioned by Impact Builders to create a bold modern interior design for their new show home in Fawn Run in the Upper Mission. The goal of this project was to create a unique and bold space by taking a different approach to interior design styles that would commonly be used.

OUR FAVORITE FEATURES

The Kitchen and Living room are two of our favorite spaces in this project. Our approach to the design of the kitchen was to create a clean modern look with the use of smooth black matte cabinets and warm wood tone accents.  At MATERIA we are always thinking of new approaches to design in order to create unique and functional spaces for our clients. The combination between the black cabinets, lighting and hardware blends itself well with the warm wood tones in the hood fan and island. A combination we cannot get enough of.

DID SOMEONE SAY MARBLE?

The living room features two giant marble porcelain slabs that are 4’ wide by 8’ tall!  This simple yet again bold statement is one of the unique features in this home that sets it apart. Norelco Cabinets brought our vision of the wood paneling and floating cabinets to life which were designed to bring out the veining in the marble and complete this feature fireplace.

WAINSCOTTING

Keeping with the black accents in the interior design of this project we created feature walls in both the master bedroom and stair landing to bring the black accents from the main floor throughout the rest of the space.

GRADIANT HEXAGON TILE

One of our favorite shapes is the hexagon which you will find in the Master En-Suite shower.  We worked directly with the tile installer to get the gradient from black to white just right.
