Designing Success: MATERIA Interior Design's Collaboration with Innocept Developments

As Innocept Developments embarked on their expansion into the vibrant Okanagan region, the need for a centralized operations center became apparent. Building on our successful collaboration on the St Paul Multi-Family development in Kelowna, a relationship founded on aesthetic excellence and professionalism, Innocept Developments entrusted MATERIA with the task of designing their new offices in Kelowna, BC. This not only reflects our commitment to creating visually appealing spaces but also emphasizes the value we place on fostering enduring client relationships.

The project revolves around the tenant improvement of the Innocept Developments' office space, requiring the incorporation of private offices, a boardroom, and a small kitchen. Beyond the visual aspects, our focus was on enhancing functionality and efficiency to meet the operational needs of our esteemed client.

Aesthetic Palette:

In line with a neutral aesthetic, we selected a sophisticated black and white palette to form the foundation of the space. To infuse a touch of vibrancy and align with Innocept's brand standards, a pop of yellow was strategically introduced. This not only adds a refreshing burst of color but also serves as a visual bridge between the brand identity and the interior environment.

Functional Spaces:

Our design approach considered the practical requirements of a commercial office. The layout seamlessly integrates private offices, a boardroom, and a compact kitchen, optimizing the utilization of the 1,354 square feet available. This meticulous planning ensures a cohesive and efficient workflow within the space.

Attention to detail is evident in the thoughtful selection of design elements. A well-defined reception area sets the tone for the office space, creating a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. The lighting design, carefully curated to enhance both functionality and ambiance, contributes to an inspiring work environment. Carpet tiles, chosen with precision, add texture and comfort to the floors.
